DETAILS: Rugger was found as a stray on May 7th 2026, and since that day he has been staying at our pound, waiting for the opportunity to find a family of his own.

When he was found, it was discovered that he had a registered microchip belonging to a hunter, who informed us that he had sold Rugger to another hunter.

Despite our efforts, the new owner could never be located. We therefore requested that the registered owner transfer Rugger into the pound's care.

The process proved to be long and difficult. For weeks, there were delays and excuses, while no genuine interest was ever shown in Rugger's wellbeing. No one asked how he was doing, and no one came to visit him.

Then finally, at last, the transfer was completed and Rugger officially became part of our pound family.

According to his microchip records, Rugger is three years old. He is a handsome male dog with a loving heart and a wonderful temperament. He gets along beautifully with both male and female dogs, loves people, and is excellent with children. He is calm, affectionate, friendly, and wins over everyone he meets.

Rugger is healthy, ready, and waiting to begin a new life filled with love, security, and happiness.

Despite being abandoned and facing uncertainty, Rugger has never lost his trust in people. He still greets everyone with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart, believing that his forever family is out there somewhere.

Our wish is that the next photo we share of Rugger will not be from the pound, but from the comfort of his own home, surrounded by the people who love him.
