Batman is a medium-sized boy, maybe a little taller than a beagle but with a slimmer build, and he’s around 18 months old (to be confirmed). He’s been absolutely perfect with every dog he’s met and truly adores people. He can also be cat tested for any serious enquiries.

Batman is extremely unhappy at the shelter and has made several very creative escape attempts by climbing out of his kennel – he just wants to be with people! Because of this, he has to stay in a securely chained enclosure, which is absolutely heart breaking.

He doesn’t get out very often and only enjoys a walk or some fresh air when his sponsor can visit, which is usually once – if he’s lucky, twice – a week. When he sees her, it’s the highlight of his week, and “excited” doesn’t even begin to cover it! The lovely thing is, when Batman does get out, he doesn’t try to run off… he runs towards humans instead.

He doesn’t need a super active home – although he’d certainly enjoy his walks – what he really needs is a family who can give him love, attention, and time. He’d thrive in a home where he isn’t left alone for long hours and can finally feel safe, settled, and wanted.

Batman has so much love to give… he just needs someone to give him the chance.
