DETAILS: Meet beautiful Berta, a sweet 2-year-old German Shepherd cross who is looking for a loving new home through no fault of her own. Sadly, her previous owner became seriously unwell and could no longer care for her.

Berta is on the smaller side for her breed (around 22kg), but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in affection. She absolutely loves being close to people — in fact, she’s happiest curled up on your lap enjoying a cuddle.

She already knows her name, has great recall, and walks nicely on the lead, making her a lovely companion both at home and out on walks.

Berta gets along well with other dogs out and about, but she will need to be the only dog in the home so she can fully relax and enjoy her space.
