DETAILS: This gorgeous boy is Klaus, and at around 7 months old, he is ready to find a family of his very own.

Klaus is a gentle, affectionate and very people-oriented boy. He’s energetic, playful and loves being active, but he also has a wonderfully sweet and loving side. After a fun walk or some playtime, Klaus is more than happy to settle down beside his person — and he especially loves sleeping by their feet.

On walks, Klaus regularly checks in with his person and looks to them for guidance. If something scares or worries him, he will stand close by their feet and allow them to handle the situation. He trusts people and looks to them for reassurance when faced with something unfamiliar or uncertain.

Klaus is also very good with other dogs, getting along well with both males and females.
He has not yet been tested with cats, but this could be arranged for a serious potential adopter.

Klaus and his twin sister, Klara, were found by two women on the side of the road while they were travelling between cities. The puppies were only a few months old.

They were taken in by a foster family, where the two siblings grew up together. They had each other from the very beginning and spent their early lives side by side.

Sadly, as they grew bigger, the foster family was no longer able to keep both dogs, and Klaus and Klara were eventually brought to the shelter.

Now Klaus is hoping that his next chapter will be a happy one — with a family who will love him, guide him and give him the forever home he deserves.

Klaus is currently in Cyprus but can travel to the UK once he has found his home. £720 adoption fee and home check apply.
