DETAILS: Well what can we say about Menios? He’s a kind, affectionate and extremely people oriented boy.

Menios gets along well with other dogs and is always friendly and eager to meet people. He loves to climb onto someone’s lap and enjoys sitting on chairs in the vets waiting room as if he belongs there.

Menios travels well in the car and as you may guess prefers the front seat. He is a big fan of a trip to a cafe so if you’re looking for a calm date for your afternoon coffee then he’s more than happy to relax with you and watch the world go by.

He can live with other dogs. He’s best with females as he can resource guard with males. Menios hasn’t been tested around cats but this could be arranged for serious interest.

Menios was found as a stray and was likely dumped by a hunter after he fell ill as he was no longer ‘useful’. A woman found him and brought him to the shelter. There he had 2 teeth removed and received treatment for a large bladder stone.
Being a hunting breed, these dogs are known as devoted family companions - affectionate, loyal and they thrive on human company.

Menios has just turned 7 and is a more mature and sophisticated pup which is part of his charm. In his eyes you can see wisdom, gentleness and a lifetime of experience. He is past the chaotic puppy and teenage stages and has grown in a balanced and well-rounded companion.

Older dogs can make wonderful pets as they tend to be calmer, more patient and focused on their people. Menios does not need constant adventure or non-stop activity to be happy.

What he wants most is to share his life with a family, enjoy peaceful walks, comfortable naps and the love of his own person. He is a dog who knows how to appreciate the simple things in life and he’s ready to share them with someone special.

This wonderful woofer is currently in Cyprus and will come to the UK once he has a home. £720 adoption fee and home check will apply.
