When his foster parents met him, he walked straight over. Calm, gentle, and ready to connect. After more than two years of waiting, his trust in people is still incredible.
Within days of foster care Rikkos was cuddling, playing fetch, offering full-body wiggles, and snoring loud enough to make us laugh. He bonds quickly and loves being close to his people.
Around 4 years old, Rikkos has that beautiful balance of playful and calm that makes him easy to live with and a joy to be around.
He doesn’t need sympathy - just the right home.
If you’re looking for a soft-natured dog with a big heart (or know someone who is) then he might be the one.
