DETAILS: Sonic is 4.5 years old, and after everything he has been through, he is still one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever meet.

He is a fun-loving boy with soulful eyes that always seem to ask the same question: “When will it finally be my turn?” And when Sonic is happy, he jumps like a little bunny — it is impossible not to smile watching him.

Sonic absolutely loves people. More than anything, he wants to be close to his human. He is the kind of dog who will happily cuddle beside you on the sofa, follow you from room to room, or join you on outdoor adventures and mountain walks. He is a true companion dog with so much love to give.

He is playful, funny, affectionate, and highly food-motivated, which makes bonding with him easy and fun. He enjoys chase games, makes everyone laugh with his goofy personality, and has the softest teddy bear nature.

Sonic gets along wonderfully with other dogs, people, and children. He currently shares his shelter enclosure with a female Pointer and often acts as her “pillow,” always wanting closeness and comfort. The only thing Sonic cannot live with is cats.

Sonic’s story is heartbreaking. During the devastating forest fires in Cyprus in the summer of 2025, many animals lost their lives and homes. Sonic was found during those terrible days — alone, with no microchip, and no one searching for him.

Since then, he has spent almost a year waiting in a shelter enclosure, hoping someone will finally see him and choose him.

The shelter is not where Sonic belongs. You can see the sadness in his eyes. He desperately misses having a person of his own and longs to be part of a family again.

Sonic is ready to give his whole heart to someone.
He just needs someone willing to give him a chance.
